Explore Swanton: 2025 Scavenger Hunt Business Participants
We are thrilled to showcase the amazing lineup of local businesses participating in the 2025 Swanton Scavenger Hunt, happening Saturday, May 25. This community-wide event is filled with creativity, local pride, and fun opportunities to explore our town while supporting small businesses.
Each participating stop has planned something unique—whether it’s a fun photo op, giveaway, challenge, or interactive activity. Here’s what you can expect from our featured participants:
Game One will be open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM during the Scavenger Hunt. Participants will have the unique opportunity to screen print their own t-shirt, send it through the dryer on-site, and snap a photo as proof of participation. A dedicated machine will be reserved just for scavenger hunters. Game One is also contributing swag to the grand prize basket and offering a fun, interactive experience you won’t want to miss!
Benfield Wines will be offering treats, fun in-store challenges, photo opportunities, and contributions to the prize basket.
CK Sweets has created a themed photo backdrop and encourages guests to tag them on social media for a chance to win a dozen cookies.
F&M Bank is hosting a flower basket giveaway and promoting the event on their digital marquee.
FirstFedDelta will provide small giveaways and has donated a Swanton Bulldog t-shirt to the prize basket.
Rivendell Bridal & Beauty is creating a stylish photo station and offering additional event support.
Tano’s Pizza will hand out candy to scavenger hunters and donate gift cards to the grand prize.
McNeill Chevrolet is encouraging visitors to snap a photo with a new vehicle, complete a mini-challenge, and tag their page for a chance to win. They’ve also contributed promotional items. Note, they are closed Memorial Day Weekend!
Natural Resources Management (NRM) will offer a small gift to visitors during regular office hours (while supplies last). Participants can also answer a few trivia questions to be entered into an in-house drawing for a $25 Kroger gift card. NRM is also contributing to the grand prize basket with a generous donation that includes an Ohio Bird book, a pair of binoculars, an NRM-branded cup, and a screwdriver
Sew Beyond Blessed will welcome hunters with a small sewing kit and donating to the grand prize!
Swanton Valley Rehab & Nursing will host weekday participants (Monday–Friday, 9AM–4PM) with a gift and selfie area in their main lobby. 🕘 Available Monday–Friday, 9AM–4PM
PizzAroma is offering giveaways, running a photo-tag contest for a Family Pack Special, and contributing to the grand prize basket.
Swanton Middle School has created a tech-savvy stop where participants scan a QR code at the Career Center mural and snap a selfie with featured businesses.
KH Photography asks for participants to snap a picture at Fulton Pond, one of her favorite places for photos, and is donating a $25 gift card. Tag them for a chance to win an additional gift card!
DeEtte’s Dream Diner will offer a photo with “Jane" and a $25 gift card for the prize.
Swanton Area Community Coalition is decorating their window for scavenger selfies and donating to the prize basket.
Swanton Local Schools will offer a photo stop near the historic vault and challenge visitors with Swanton-themed trivia.
Anything Grows is planning to participate, with details to be announced soon.
Stapleton Insurance is setting up a selfie photo booth inside, providing candy baskets and free gifts, hosting an in-house drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card, and donating a branded blanket to the grand prize.
How to Enter the Grand Prize Drawing:
To be eligible, scavenger hunters must visit at least six participating businesses, take photos, and submit them here between May 17–25. A winner will be selected at random after the event.
