ABOUT

IN MEMORY OF ANDREW MCNEILL

Andrew McNeill, born on October 5, 1958, graduated from Swanton High School in 1977 and Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. Starting at age 14, Drew worked at his grandfather's car dealership, eventually becoming the third-generation owner of McNeill Chevrolet Buick. He and his partner, John LaRiche, relocated the dealership to Airport Highway in 2003.

Drew was passionate about outdoor activities such as fishing, water skiing, snowmobiling, and golfing. A dedicated golfer, he won the national championship title at the Oldsmobile Scramble Tournament in 1993. Drew cherished annual trips to watch the Green Bay Packers and hunt for Morel mushrooms.

Drew's widow, Patty, ensures that Andrew's memory lives on through the yearly Swanton Area Chamber of Commerce's golf tournament.
